The bid prices for new crop rapeseed on Ukraine’s export market reached levels of $590-600 per ton last week, both on CPT-port terms and DAP-western border terms.

“Similar dynamics in the European market for this oilseed contributed to the price increase. Demand, as before, significantly exceeded supply, which further supported prices,” experts note.
In the domestic rapeseed market, the trend of price increases also prevailed during the week, however, the growth was weak, considering the low pace of trade and the inflow of raw material supply.
It is noted that in May, Ukraine observed an increase in the pace of rapeseed processing and export. In particular, demand towards the western border increased, while demand at ports was slightly weaker due to shelling.
