The government has revised the terms of the state program for affordable lending “5-7-9,” which supports small and medium-sized businesses, including farms.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Vysotsky.
The main changes to the program include:
- The program’s duration has been extended until March 31, 2027;
- The maximum loan amount has been increased to UAH 90 million;
- A preferential rate of 3% has been introduced for frontline territories;
- For other regions, rates will be 15% for operational needs and 7% for investment purposes.
“By mid-October, we expect additional benefits for frontline territories. The Prime Minister has already tasked state banks to intensify business financing in challenging regions,” noted Vysotsky.
Loans issued at 0% during the war will not be automatically extended under the same conditions. Future refinancing will occur at the updated rates – 3% for frontline regions or 7-15% for the rest of Ukraine, depending on the purpose of the funds.
