Harvest-2026 is in full swing on the fields of LLC “YS Zori” of the Tekom Agro Group agro-holding: the main crop, winter soft wheat, is being threshed. According to Oleksandr Terebiy, head of the Mardarivka branch, the grain harvesting campaign is proceeding strictly according to schedule. Equipment and personnel are working at full capacity and with maximum responsibility to gather the harvest within the most optimal agro-technical terms.
“In total, about 2600 hectares of winter soft wheat fall under threshing for our branch. Currently, combines are moving through fields where three varieties have ripened – Zhytnytsia Odeska, Perspektyva Odeska, and Spadshchyna Odeska, selected by the Scientific and Genetic Institute of the NAAS. Also, for the 2026 harvest, in addition to awned varieties of Odesa selection, we have also sown one Czech variety of awnless wheat – Yuliya. I note that overall, winter wheat has formed a good, well-grained ear on practically all plots. The yield varies, with each field contributing its own figure: there are plots yielding an average of 43 centners per hectare, and there are those yielding over 60 centners per hectare. Our task is to harvest everything we have managed to grow, qualitatively and without losses,” emphasized the specialist.
Agronomic service specialists of the Tekom Agro Group agro-holding focus not only on gross indicators. They emphasize that in the process of growing cereals, and winter soft wheat in particular, it is fundamentally important to achieve high quality-forming indicators as well.
“In order for our winter crops to yield well, we thoroughly carried out a full range of agro-technical measures throughout the season: we prepared the soil for sowing with high quality, sowed seeds of high reproductions, ensured reliable protection against diseases and pests, and carried out timely fertilization,” said Oleksiy Andriychuk, agronomist of the Mardarivka branch.
